Discipline & General Rules

Discipline shall be developed in a positive manner. The purpose of discipline must always be a learning experience for the student.

If a child is disruptive, disrespectful or acts up in class, he/she will immediately be sent to the CCD Office at which time the parent/guardian will be called to come to take the student home for the remainder of the day. A student will not be re-admitted to class without the parent/guardian having a conference with the Coordinator of Religious Education.

Parents of student being asked to leave the classroom for disciplinary reasons on more than two occasions will have the following options:

Have the student leave the CCD program.

OR

Have the student continue to attend CCD with a parent present at each session.

General Rules

• No eating or gum chewing in class.

• Snacks (cakes, cookies, fruit, crackers & french fries) if they are necessary, may be eaten in the cafeteria.

• Please eat pizza and subs at the local eateries.

• No juice or soda will be permitted in the classroom area.

• No hats are to be worn inside the building.

• Children are encouraged to have respect for the books and supplies of the OLOL school students.

• Students and their parents/guardians will be held financially responsible for malicious damage and graffiti
